Qatar Charity has provided financial support for a week long Umrah trip to the Holy Land for 20 Qatar University students with special needs.

The project is part of a joint cooperation with Qatar University, intended to serve the community across a variety of fields and focusing particularly on instilling religious morals in young people, working to recognize and encourage students with special needs and helping integrate them fully into their communities.

It has come to our attention that Qatar Charity has been subject to a recent email scam.

A number of emails are circulating claiming that Qatar Charity Head Office - Doha, Qatar is giving out €10 million to 80 international recipients for business and economic development.

Qatar Charity has held its third annual festival for Somali orphans, under the slogan: “Orphan’s Smile, Our Desired Wish”.

The festival, which is the only event of its kind in the country, was held in the Somali capital Mogadishu with the participation of 1,100 orphans and attended by the QC Somalia team, senior officials, and representatives from international organizations working in the area, teachers, other educational professionals and the mothers of some of the orphans.
